And although some people bemoan the accuracy of Google’s quality score the bottom line is that if your score is low, you need to get it up. It is a reality of account management that must be taken into account.

If your score is too low then your ads will not show often and your first page bids will be high which will have an impact on your ROI.

2. Click-Through-Rates

Your click-through-rate plays a big part in your quality score so you have to maintain a high CTR throughout your account. The better your keywords match your ads, the more likely it will be that a searcher will click on your ad because it’s relevant to their search query.

This will lead to high quality score which will reduce your click costs and improve your ad rank

A poor click-through-rate can result in a lower ad positions, higher click costs and increase in your conversion cost.

3. Cost / Conversion

Getting clicks to your website is obviously important, but at the end of the day a profit has to be made.  So, for advertisers cost per conversion is a very important statistic to monitor.
